Rules for playing at Trumansburg Golf Club
Is there a dress code?
There's no strict dress code, but we encourage all golfers to wear casual golf attire.
- Men: please no tank tops, muscle shirts or jean shorts. - Shoes and shirts are required. Golfers without them may be asked to change or leave the course. - Wear soft-spike shoes only, to keep the course in good condition for everyone.
How long should a round take?
Please play "ready golf." A nine-hole round that takes longer than 2 hours and 15 minutes is too slow. Management may ask a slow group to speed up or let the groups behind them play through.
It's fine to take your time, as long as you let faster groups pass.
Where can I drive a golf cart?
Stay in the rough and at least 30 feet from greens and tees unless there's a cart path. This matters most when the course is wet.
Can I bring kids to play?
Yes! We're proud to be family-friendly and welcome young golfers of any age. All we ask is that you're courteous to other golfers. Ask about special youth rates at the Pro Shop.
Ready to hit the course?
Check our daily rates, then call the Pro Shop at (607) 387-8844, option 1, to book your tee time.
